And now for something completely different. Beckinfield is a collectively produced dramatic web series set in a Twin Peaks-type town plagued with supernatural secrets. Anyone can create a character and join the ongoing story.

Shot vérité style in Canada, the US and India this interactive thriller from iThentic and 3 o’clock.tv combines scripted drama and documentary-style investigation into one very cool web series. 

Viewers can sign-up now to receive “real time” links when the series launches in early February 2012.

The series delves into the mysterious Georgia Guidestones, an enigmatic monument built by persons unknown in a farmer’s field in Elbert County, Georgia.

Each episode of “Guidestones” contains a hidden clue that viewers can unlock to solve the mystery of The Guidestones. Solutions to the mystery are hidden online and in audio files, apps and other media — some of which are real, and some not.  

The NFB’s award-winning interactive documentary, “Highrise/One Millionth Tower” will be seen by more than 1 million commuters who travel the Toronto subway system, now through February 29, 2012.

High school sucks!

Season 1 of the tween comedy/horror series, “My Babysitter’s A Vampire” has its Canadian premiere tonight on Teletoon. 

Meanwhile, the companion online game, an arcade-style duel that pits humans against vampires, has already racked-up close to 1.5 million plays since its soft launch in the late fall.

Humans are currently leading the charge but may be in for a bit of a challenge when “Nurse Vee” unlocks later this month to reveal her famous “Blood Drive” jab.

Humans vs Vampires was developed by Toronto digital agency Secret Location. 

Set in Norway and starring Steve Van Zandt (The Sopranos), “Lilyhammer” premieres on Netflix USA, Canada and Latin America, February 6, 2012. All eight episode series of the series will go online all at the same time.
